A new start with a new theme. 

The baby sees the LIGHT of the world for the first time. 

Our lives all start with the first CELL. This is a nice transition from the previous theme to the new theme.

….a challenge? Yes, from something very big, wide, always present to something small, minuscule and not visible to the naked eye.

Doerte-Ina Liebing has already introduced a few possibilities. 

The different cells, vegetable, human and so on.

When I look in the quilt world, who has communicated about the theme of cells in a big way, I come back again to Betty Busby . I am a great admirer of her work. The techniques she uses are inexhaustible. Her use of colour is sublime. She is a great source of inspiration for all of us.

So it will be a long way to go from design to quilt.

I’m starting to like it more and more. The possibilities are endless.

And last but not least you will then see 11 other works, all of which have the same theme. It is again super inspiring.

We can go on like this for year after year.
