How funny, Mikiko I also briefly thought I’m making a kimono. But my holiday impression was too great. Your kimono is beautifully executed and balanced in color.
Truly so beautiful – brilliant and bold, your Kimono story comes to life here, Mikiko…thank you for sharing the meaning of your quilt story with us.
What a great piece for pattern. Thank you for sharing all of the design meanings. Although I am happily married, I just love the meaning of the feathers of an arrow: Protect from the devil and wishing for a marriage that will never return. I know some people who really need that pattern in their clothing.
