When I began to think about compositions for the Flow of Water theme, my first thoughts were of the beach, the ocean, and the sunset.  Even though I live in Florida, I miss all that. It’s not often that I get there!  I decided to brainstorm a bit, as I thought other members would probably make similar work. 

At the time I began, we were told at church that our beloved priest, Father Claudius, would be transferred to another parish about 2 hours away.  We will all miss him, not least, the children.  Whenever he leads the mass, he always calls the little ones to the altar for a chat and a blessing with holy water. This became my plan. 

I’ll show a few photos of my rough beginnings. 

So, this work is dedicated to dear Fr. Claudius and the children, who can never seem to get enough holy water.
