It is a fascinating subject. Everyone strives for perfection. We are sometimes misled, when it comes to perfection.
Look at the fashion world. The current mannequins are very tall and thin, in my opinion. Many young girls think that this is the ideal figure! If you are sensitive to this information, it can lead to anorexia. Especially when you are young and still searching for the right path. That is not a good development. Everyone has something about their body that they do not find beautiful. Human perfection does not exist.
My conclusion: Nobody is perfect!

In my search for imperfection I came across this bench. At first it seems like a perfect bench. A bit crooked, yes! But when I got closer, I saw that the maker had thought about it carefully. I recognized a styled human figure, kneeling and holding the bench.
The artist deliberately used imperfection for this artistic bench. Did he want to take away the feeling of loneliness from the user?

How we will carry out this assignment remains a mystery until the end of July. I hope that there is a lot of humor to be seen in our results. I hope that my work will put a “smile” on your faces. Something we can use in this hard world.
