Song lyrics which floated down from the ceiling after Adele concert

I am having a hard time narrowing down my choices for this challenge. Choosing specific lyrics to one song seems like I am being a traitor to all the other artists I know and love. I don’t really know the artists but if you sing your heart out with their songs at one time or another in your lifetime, you, somehow, do think you know them. It’s an irrational and emotional thing.

This challenge reminded me that I have been to lots of concerts, mostly in the eighties in my –um- wilder and younger days. To name a few of more memorable ones : Beach Boys, Bee Gees, ABBA,  Fleetwood Mac, KC and the Sunshine Band, Elton John, Molly Hatchet, Lynyrd Skinner, Pat Benatar, Sade, Carol King, The Eurythmics, Bob Seger, Tina Turner, Prince, and just recently, Adele.  I am a concert groupie and I do admit to it. Ask me to a concert and I will meet you there.

I have to say the last 3 concerts I mentioned were my favorites. Prince was just a magnificent performer and I truly did know all the words to sing right along with him. Tina Turner sang her heart out and rocked it out.  And I had great seats for the Adele concert in 2016 with one of my best friends. And I was 30 years older than I was when I saw Prince. Nonetheless, the thrill of hearing an artist perform was still the same.

Now I regroup after the holidays and get to work on this challenge. Whose song lyrics will inspire me?
