Recently I moved to a new house. At least, it was new for me. But it was also someone else’s old house with their old garden. And since green spaces need a green thumb I guess that’s not what they had. Because all of the green present was artificial grass.
Just a week before corona arrived the gardener arrived. Het got rid of the artificial grass, made some new terraces and added garden soil.
And than the lockdown came and it made a nice garden far more important. We still could visit garden centers, so that’s where I went.
Now lockdown is on it’s end. In the Netherlands we where very lucky to have very good wheather almost the whole period. Gardens and parks were visited a lot and were the only place people could meet each other.
I think outdoor space is much more appreciated now.
And so is my garden. Nature did it’s best and now I have a lot of green space in my garden.
It is so calming just to look at the garden and the beautiful flowers!
Inspiring! I keep thinking that if this pandemic had to happen I am thankful it came in the springtime and summer so we can, at least, enjoy nature and our gardens…
Remarkable difference! Well done, Sandra.
What a wonderful green space. It is wonderful to have a lovely park at your own home!
