Last week, I was in a conversation about travel with my walking buddies.  I was remembering a trip to a quilting conference in Toronto last April, when I had the fortunate experience of visiting Niagara Falls.  Such a huge amount and forceful movement of water goes over those rocks!!

I took some lovely photos including a rainbow, and a short video to help me remember the magnificence of this place.

Unfortunately, I didn’t think of this memory sooner, or it would have made a wonderful quilt for our flow of water theme.  The idea I decided on is quite a less amount of water than at the Falls.  You will have to wait a few days until our work is revealed to see each of our twelve interpretations of the water theme.

I will leave you with a fun photo of a tourist who was also visiting that day.

  1. A visit to the Falls is a magical adventure… and so glad you enjoyed Niagara Falls time with SAQA friends! Here in Canada, we take time as we cross into the US to be sure to take an extra day or two to just behold the speed, watch the flow and listen to the voice of the waters! Summer, fall, winter and spring – a perfect sharing!
