In Japan during the Heian Period about 800 years ago, people wrote short lyrical poems of love.

A round moon, a half moon and even a crescent moon, all filled with mystery ,inspired much poetry.

For example ,there were 100 poems made by one hundred people.

The soft moonlight brought out the full beauty of women.

They had an air of romance that could only be expressed in lovely lyrical poetry.

Even now I am lyrically attracted to the beautiful autumn moon in a dark sky.

There are mysterious festivals near  my home each year.

The moon brings forth strange visions of ghosts,fairies and spirits.

“A Fox Wedding Parade”reveals slowly  walking people wearing fox makeup in the silence of night.

Moonlight shows us the spiritual world.
