It’s hard to believe we’re already working on the final prompt for Round 4 of our Quilts project! Time really flies when we’re immersed in our creative endeavours. I even needed a friendly nudge from Karol to get this blog post written – thank you so much, Karol!

For me, the process of responding to a new prompt is always interesting. Sometimes an idea immediately springs to mind about how to translate the theme into fabric. Other times, the concept needs a bit more time to develop and take shape as I consider different approaches.

I always eagerly anticipate the reveal of everyone’s finished quilts. It’s so inspiring to see the diverse interpretations of the same prompt and the wonderful ideas that each artist brings to life.

On a more personal note, I hope that any challenges or anxieties we might be facing will blow over soon.

Despite the uncertainties in life, one thing remains constant: just as the sun rises each morning, every new day brings with it the inevitability of change.
