From Libby Cerullo, of Pennsylvania
Martha Ressler shared her blog of April 21 with me–in which I am noted as a helper for the planting of her and Jay’s legacy forest. It was a delightful experience to get out of the house and work in the dirt!
I also enjoyed looking through the Cloth in Common ‘galleries’ and artwork. Because you said we could play along, and because several of your galleries were aligned with my own themes, I thought I would send a couple of pictures. “Aurora” is from a series called Portraits of Women as Trees. They are ALL about identity. LOTS of metaphors. Made using my original photos of trees that were printed on whole cloth, with fused organza to create transparent clothing. Aurora is 55 x 38 inches
These are little, 4 x 7 inches.
I’ve been enjoying your images on other social media sites. It’s nice to see your version of Identity!
How beautiful! Thank you for sharing these.
