In Europe the European Union is trying to convince us all that we all are one Europe. Trying to believe that I interpreted the International theme as ‘abroad of Europe’. Since I took care of my multiple disabled child I was never able to travel by plane or very far

with the whole family. The one time I travelled outside Europe I went with a friend. The occasion was that one of my quilts was juried into Quilt National 2013. We took a 10 day trip which started in New York and let us via Shenandoah National Park to Athens Ohio. Every now and then since 2013 I made a New York inspired Quilt. I decided to extend that series within this theme. 

But, in the mean time my life changed dramatically. I had some surgery, I divorced, planned to move to a new house and on top of alle my daughter passed away. 

So, I am busy rearranging my life. I made a good start with New York VI, but I didn’t manage to finish it. I will catch up with it when I am in my new home.
