In an overall structure, small changes, small rotations, changes of perspective can create openings and thus free space.
Such an opening, an in-between space can be much more than an empty space.
New space is created through the openings. There are overlaps. New space for new ideas.
We move between different places, between other people, between feelings, between different objects, between light and dark, between different views and positions, between private and public. A space in between can become a protected space, a place of personal freedom.
Gaps must always be created anew. Let’s stay flexible!
An awesome message, Doerte-Ina. The space between, and the stunning overlay of stitch take me to thoughts of just how our world is feeling these days, with opportunity and hope on the horizon.
