I was excited by the second prompt by Lisa, entitled “Touch”.

I thought about the touch that human beings have with the ground.

I once watched a beautiful ballerina standing on just one toe.

All her weitght on one toe looked so difficult, yet so shapely.

This pose must be the highlight of her life.

Human being usually connect with the ground through the soles of their feet.

I have kept both my feet firmly planted on the ground.

I am getting on in years. 

One day my entire body will touch the ground in the end of life.

Before then I want to enjoy my life. 

Standing. Walking. Running. Skipping. Jumping.
