When I read the first topic: Sound, I thought of the sound waves. It is amazing to see the beautiful different sound waves in your quilts. I found a dress in a thrift store where some of the fabric could be pieced together as sound waves.
I also noticed that the snail house, in the inner ear, important for interpreting sound, had a nice shape that I could use in the quilt.
I tried to make a scream like in our national painting, and from our national baby statue. Some screaming sea gulls, typical unpleasant sounds in Norway, also belonged to the quilt.
Can you hear the sounds?
These were some of my thoughts while trying to make the quilt.
