Time Travel

Sitting down with a cup of hot Lemon Zinger tea to write this.  I love to read.  As a child, I spent many happy hours browsing through the public library in the summertime.

I recently had to sit for a couple of hours at an urgent care clinic, so I downloaded Michelle Obama’s book, Becoming, to help pass the waiting time.  I love how she takes the reader back in time to her youth and then her college days.  It took me back to my own early family and school experiences, and then those in college and meeting my future husband.

My art this time is about reading and how it can take you to a different time period.  I’ve read Diana Gabaldon’s entire Outlander series twice, and enjoyed how the characters can travel back and also forward in time!!!  It’s easy for me to get lost in a book (for a long time) and I have a hard time putting it down so I can get back to real life in the here and now.
