In today’s uncertain world, “Wind of Change” evokes a sense of new possibilities and a shift toward a better future. Even A small single breeze can lead to great change.
The song Wind of Change by Scorpions includes the line, “Where the children of tomorrow dream away in the wind of change.” This lyric inspired me to create my work. I believe that future generations can build a world better than the one we know today—and that they have the power to lead the change themselves.

This piece uses fabric dyed with traditional ink and ice-dyed textiles to create the background. The background serves as an abstract representation of a journey from an uncertain present toward a brighter, more hopeful future. The triangular forms symbolize possibility, dreams, and hope, while what the silhouette of the child is pointing toward represents both the present in motion and the flow of the future.
