It is obvious that the world we live in today is kind of different than the world we used to know. The virus, the climate, populism, the American elections, everything is changing the world.
But, apart from this all, I noticed that the world around me is less tolerant. Social media makes clear that people are less tolerant to people with different opinions than theirs. People don’t trust each other anymore, people threaten people who think differently from them. I don’t like that.

Our overal theme is Community. A community is a group of people sharing the same social values. I can see people sharing the same social values everywhere. But I noticed that groups of people are being driven apart in stead of facing problems together and solving problems together.

So maybe we should unite, make a concession every now and then, really listen to people with different opinions, respect other opinions, try to solve problems, negotiate. And recognize that you can’t please everyone.
Don’t let the shouting minority make the rules for everyone.
Everyone’s opinion matters, it is a matter of give and take, a compromise.
