From October 9th to 12th, the International Quilt Festival was held at the Huston convention, and I went to see it.
Huston is easy to get to and from Japan because it has direct flights from Japan, so many Japanese people also participate in this event.
During the event, I always went from the hotel to the convention center through the park of “Discovery Green”. I thought that Huston was a business district full of huge buildings, but it was a comfortable green space with many children playing in the water and playing with toys.
Huston was a city with beautiful contrasts between buildings and green trees. I hope to meet you at the gorgeous International Quilt Show with CIC someday
I’ve only attended Houston quilt show once and didn’t see the Discovery Green, though there was a lot of construction outside. I hope to see this myself if I get to visit in the future. I’m so happy you were able to go.
