Launching a brand new international group of fiber artists – this is exhilarating!!! We are anxious to meet you and one another, and to begin creating fiber art by presenting thoughtful prompts every other month.  We have each committed to the first ’round’ of twenty two months beginning August 1 of 2017, and finishing in May of 2019.  We will be sharing our thoughts and art on this blog and we welcome feedback about our work.  We look forward to personal artistic growth, as well as building new collaborative friendships.

Some of us were too excited to wait for the August 1 start date, and have been working on a ‘practice round’  quilt. 

Here is mine, made with fabrics from many countries.  17.5 x 23″  Hand appliqued, hand quilted.  I think I’ll call it Fibration!  Please, come back and visit often.
