Last summer, I was facing a serious situation. My husband was critically ill with sever pneumonia caused by COVID-19. At that time, I was very scared and anxious the situation, but I had to endured it.
However, thanks to efforts of the medical team, he gradually began to recover and my anxiety also turn into hope. And in the end, his health almost reached the stage of recovery.
The whole process was like a journey from a darkness where I felt like I couldn’t see ahead to a brighter place gradually.
During that period, I went through a lot of stress and anxiety. But in the end, I endured it with out breaking down and was restored to my original self.
This piece is an abstract representation an such an experience.

I am so glad that you feel that you have recovered sufficiently to post about your experiences. Losing anyone that we love can be so traumatic and terrifying, especially when the process takes many turns before we have an outcome. Sometimes the imagined outcome is worse than the real outcome. Being able to create your beacon of hope and then to depict it in such a meaningful way is healing for everyone. Thank you for sharing it with us and my best wishes to you and your husband for a healthy and happy future.
