Tokyo seemed a little more lively when I went to a quilt exhibition last Fall. I saw artworks of SAQA Japan members. This was my first Tokyo visit in two years. I still felt like Covid-19 was hiding everywhere.
On the train home skeletons of buildings under construction gazed in the windows. Giant cranes crowded the red sky, each wanting to be the biggest and fiercest. Their breathing fogged up the train windows. I wanted to get home soon.
Today Omicron threatens again. I will stay home until these buildings are done

Yes, the building never stops. It looks menacing and beautiful at the same time, it really conveys a lot of emotions. Great piece!
Thank you for understanding my feelings from the work.
A testament to the architecture that plays into the many stories high and seemingly never ending buildings that are being erected around our world…I understand the angst of seeing them and glad you are safe at home. Magnificent work, Mikiko.
