The next prompt for Cloth in Common is Isolation and it couldn’t be more relevant.

For our prompt of Masks I made a quilt called ‘Behind Closed Doors‘ reflecting my concerns that people often wear invisible masks hiding their true characters. You never know what goes on behind closed doors and the increase in domestic violence demonstrates that.

Now in this unprecedented time when people are being forced to stay at home, often with their abusers, I fear for them. Neighbourhoods look so idyllic but even those which look peaceful often hide dark secrets.

I wonder which of these houses hides victims of Isolation?

Tell us what you think.
