Finally, I think I’m finished with my last quilt for Cloth in Common. The top was completed about a month ago, but then I started traveling. I went to the wonderful SAQA conference in Toronto, came home all energized to start quilting and my sewing machine bobbin case broke (not for the first time, I might add). Then I had wonderful trip to Quilt National and brought home that pesky Coronavirus. So, when I say “finally” I mean it has been a long month.
I guess it’s appropriate that the prompt was “Connections.” My needle connecting with the bobbin case caused a delay and my travels and connecting with lots of people again caused another delay. If you read my previous post, https://clothincommon.com/debs-connections/ you’ll understand all the other connections that inspired this piece: people, the Internet, and spare parts from my previous Cloth In Common quilt.
So here it is. My last quilt with this fabulous group of people. I have enjoyed my four years with Cloth in Common and I wish all of the new and remaining members all the best in round 4.

It’s been fun seeing your creations. I’ve enjoyed every one of them.
AMAZING, and many story lines here speaking of your connections with Cloth in Common. Love the colour, delightful twists and turns that are just bringing us all together one last time, Deb! We will so miss you, and celebrate that we have had this opportunity for connecting with friends old and new here with you…do stay in touch!
It has been fun getting to know you. I sure hope our paths will cross again. I’ll be watching what you all create in round 4.
I love this piece. Strong composition and great use of color.
Thanks, Diane.
