This new prompt goes from lines to patterns. As already mentioned, a nice transition.

A patron in New Netherland, the Dutch colony in North America in the 17th century was a landowner with “lordly” rights over a large area. The pieces of land were called pattern shelves. Within the patronage, entire villages with churches and other public buildings were created, which were governed as part of the patronage.

In the male form, it is also a boss, chief or superior. 

A pattern is a rash for textiles. The pattern is laid on the fabric and pinned. After that, the fabric is cut out. All around 1cm. larger than the pattern. With the edge of 1cm the seams are made. Patterns are used to make clothes.

The oldest pattern in the quilting world is the log-cabin pattern. In the meantime, many variations on this pattern have already been devised. I also tried out various log-cabinpatterns. 

Which pattern I will eventually use is not yet clear. Obviously, it will come out at the end of March. We wait in suspense.
