How do I relate the prompt of ‘anatomy’ to my theme of my country New Zealand? Generally you talk about the make up of people or animals and talk about the stomach, or lungs, legs etc but for a country you have to look at this differently!

I have been thinking about what makes up my country. Is it the people and how we have all immigrated at some stage from a different part of the world or is the lakes and the mountains and the separation of the islands that is the anatomy of New Zealand? Is it our political or religious beliefs that hold us together? Or is it our ancestors who came here before us and the diversity of the different ethnicities that make up our anatomy? The more you think about it the options are endless.

I wonder what I will make for this prompt…well I have two months to make it!

  1. I am really keen to learn more about your homeland… and the changes that have come to be as NZ sets its standing in the world today/from the past. Looking forward to your reveal, Catherine.
