I received an email from Karol in 2017, proposing to become a member of Cloth in Common. Karol and I never knew each other, but we had a connection as member of SAQA. If I hadn’t been a member of SAQA, I would never have had the chance to be a member of this group.

Not only do we not live in the same region, country, but we also speak different languages. However, it is truly remarkable that we have been able to engage in artistic activities within Cloth in Common so far.

What has made this possible was through the use of IT tools, such as machine translation, email, and the Internet.
Despite differences in countries, languages and regions, these tools serve as connecting bridges that enable the same purpose of activities.
My “connections” will work with these things in mind.
