Professionally, I have been part of the creative duo Pixeladies since 2003. Pixeladies create art quilts, teach Photoshop, and print their own fabric. Joining Cloth in Common is one of the first solo artistic endeavors I have undertaken in a long time. Probably like the rest of the Cloth in Common members, I can’t wait to see what comes out of my brain and hands.

Personally, I am an Air Force brat. Daughter of a retired navigator (which is why I think I have a genetic right to tell people where to go) and a very creative mother (who thinks I am uppity for keeping my own last name), I have been playing with fabric for as long as I can remember. I live in Cameron Park, CA with my husband Dave. Sewing garments, quilting, and passing on the joy of creating to my grandkids are some of my passions. I really, really, really like to travel, and am fortunate to have friends move to exotic places just so I can visit them. I think the world would be a better place if people wore boas and drove cars with fins.

Here are the quilts I have created for the Cloth in Common prompts.
